How To Create Two Outfits From One Romper: Day and Evening Looks
As busy career women or students, we are always on-the-go. From work to networking events or from class to dinner with friends, we need a quick outfit change that doesn't require us to carry two duffle bags of items to and from class or work. Any other 'bag ladies' out there? Haha
When New York & Company came out with one of their Gabrielle Union collections early this Spring 2018, I knew I had to have some of the pieces. When I bought them, I didn't anticipate that I would be able to use one of the skirts I found as part of my day to night quick-change routine.
This yellow skirt matches perfectly with this romper. I decided that I would wear the romper, with the yellow skirt on top of it in the morning to my day job. It's a perfect spring/summer look for the office! When leaving the office to go dinner, I could simply remove the yellow skirt and swap the sandals for heels! Also, wear the yellow drop flower New York & Company earrings with both looks! Don't you love how easy this look is to transition?
The sandals are Nanette by Nanette Lepore (found at a Macys shoe clearance) I found on sale for $15; and the heels are Jessica Simpson found under $35 price point (found at a Macys shoe clearance). CLEARANCE time is the best time to shop Macys shoes, which means NOW, because they currently have 40% off 2 pairs and 30% of 1 pair - ends 6/19.
For the romper, you can find the most beautiful rompers at low prices at TJMaxx. This is where I found this romper. I love how rompers there can be found at low prices, so many under $20!
As you can see, it is fairly simple to find two outfits and two shoes for under $120 total! Click the links I shared within the post to shop .
